Locations
We are currently working in a slum outside Nairobi, Kenya providing day care, food, shelter, and pre-primary education with a 22-30 child capacity. All of our children are complete orphans. Some are street children. We have been told there are over 500 orphans in the slum where we are working.
Our goal is to purchase property nearby and move to full time care for many more needy children. We are raising funds and looking for acreage so we can move ahead in the near future. This will enable us to develop a farm type setting where we will be able to have crops, chickens, livestock and housing with a family home environment.
Beyond this location, we have identified another city in western Kenya where we would like to develop the next Miracle House.
Beyond Kenya there are several other countries where I (Deanna) have left parts of my heart. They include Thailand (Laos & Burma), Haiti and more.
From the beginning we have committed to Dream Big! Start Small and learn to do what we do well and grow from there.
The Lord knows the plans He has for us...
