Deanna Bjork moved in 1991 from her native California to Summit County, Colorado, where she now lives with her husband of 27 years and their four children.
Deanna's heart was "wrecked" for the peoples of the world when she began traveling in leadership with Teen Mania Ministries in 1996. Through the years she has traveled all over the world with various organizations. Currently, Deanna is in leadership at One Community Church. She also serves on the Board of Directors for Beautiful Feet International Ministries and co-leads trips into Kenya frequently.
In 2006, Deanna founded Miracle House, Inc. Her responsibilities - as founder, president, and visionary, plus working with the growing board and advisors in the U.S. and communicating with those in Kenya - keep her on her knees!
Deanna is hungry for more of God and for deeper and deeper encounters with Him. She loves to share Christ's love by sharing the gospel, praying the prayer of faith, or holding a hand.
One of her greatest compliments came from a machete-wielding woman on a Kenyan path among the fields, in the middle of nowhere: "you are our people."

She spent an extended time at Miracle House in the summer of 2007, staying an additional two weeks after the team had left for the states. During her time there she had many different experiences, helping teach the children during their daily lessons, learning Swahili on a deeper level and walking through a typical day in the life of the teachers in Misri slum. She is excited about her future possibilities serving the Lord, spending more and more time in Kenya.

Jeannie Brewer moved in 1984 from her native Oklahoma to North Texas, where she now lives with her husband of 20 years and their two children, two horses and two dogs.
In 1987 Jeannie began working in the financial industry where she is now AVP and Business Systems Analyst Project Manager for JPMorgan Chase.
Jeannie's world was rocked in 1997 when she realized "If Jesus Christ is all I have - I'm okay - because Jesus Christ is ALL I need", and responded to God's call to GO! God began to develop in her a heart a passion to "Give justice to the poor and the orphan; uphold the rights of the oppressed and the destitute. Rescue the poor and helpless; deliver them from the grasp of evil people." (Psalm 82:3-4) She began traveling in leadership with Teen Mania Ministries in 1998. Through the years she has traveled all over the world with various organizations.
In 2003, Brian, her husband, Jeannie and some like-hearted/minded friends founded Beautiful Feet International Ministries, Inc. to "GO" where others won't/can't by enlisting, equipping, empowering and enabling this generation to get actively involved in fulfilling the Great Commission!
Jeannie and her husband Brian have recently been called to High School Youth Ministry in Sulphur Springs, Texas, where they will make their home until being called full-time to some, yet unknown, remote location on the international mission field... sometime in the near to distant future...
Jeannie's heart for the nations is coupled with a desire to make a difference - she continues to pour her life into mentoring and discipling college-age gals, opening their eyes to the needs of a lost, hurting and dying world...

My husband, Gerry, and I have three children and eight grandchildren. Parenting, along with its challenges, has brought us to a place of friendship with our adult children and great amusement and pride in our grandchildren.
My vocational career as a Pastor started at Calvary in 1982. Prior to that time I had served in many areas, focusing in Children's Ministries. God has been so faithful and has given me opportunities to serve Him while allowing me to fully develop and use the gift of administration and my passion for people. Creating pathways to set people up for success, both spiritually and in ministry, gives me great joy.
In 2003, I began serving on Calvary's Care, Support and Recovery Team. That has proved to be a very fulfilling place of ministry for me. Then, in 2006 God called me to broaden my ministry and also serve with the Adult Discipleship Team as an Area Leader for Small Groups. The responsibility of walking alongside small group facilitators, providing resources, encouraging them and helping them succeed in their ministry is stretching me and will reap many blessings as their groups grow into Biblical Communities.
In 2008, Senior Leadership asked me to take the reins of our Women's Ministries. What a joy it has been to, again, minister alongside this group of ladies who have a passion to help other women go deeper into the Word while building meaningful relationships.
In the fall of 2009, once again, God put me in a position to further develop Calvary's Disability/Special Needs ministry. What a privilege it is to partner with Joni And Friends (an international organization with a passion to minister to the marginalized) as we help make visible the invisible.
The opportunity to serve on the Board of Directors of Miracle House is a privilege and responsibility I take seriously. Because of God's call on my life and His obvious preparation and use of the gifts He has given me, I look forward to serving with great JOY!
Colossians 3:23 is my Life Verse. "Work hard and cheerfully at whatever you do, as though you are working for the Lord rather than for people." It reminds me where my focus needs to be every day of my life!!

Bethany grew up knowing God had a plan to use her talent. From a farm in Kansas to Boston, Phoenix and L.A., she worked in TV stations and production companies along the way doing computer animation and design. Landing in Los Angeles where she found "the film industry". She got to work with wonderful people on fun projects and even picked up a few Emmy's and an Oscar along the way. That was all B.K. (before kids). Now a mother of two, Tatum and Teaghan she spends a lot of time volunteering at school trying to grow them in the Lord and as their taxi driver. A job she wouldn't trade for anything. On the side she finds time to do freelance design work that you might have seen at Target, Walmart or you local party store.
She holds on to her Bible tight, as she summits to God's exciting plans. And gives him all the Glory for the Things He Has Done. She lives by the motto: Art is a gift from God and an artist is a giver of that gift to others.
Bethany lives with her husband Rick and two kids in Thousand Oaks, CA. They are members of Calvary Community Church in Westlake Village, CA.
