From the Field 3.2.10

Hey friends!

Yesterday, the team travelled back to Nakuru to continue work at Base Camp.  The gate is up, and the team worked on the gutter on the drive in front of our property.  They were also able to spend some time enjoying the Lord's creativity through a safari near lake Nakuru.

Today the team travelled to Limuru and spent time with the children and staff at Miracle House.  As always, it was a wonderful time laughing, worshiping, and enjoying each other.  Several of our older children are now finished with primary school - pray for guidance for them and for us as we pursue options for their future!

Tomorrow, the team will focus on wrapping up administrative tasks, so pray that all administrative tasks will be completed quickly and with favor!  Garrett and Toby will also be working on repairs at Miracle House Limuru... building a coat rack, repairing walls, and building room dividers among other things.  The team is also hoping to spend some time at a church in the slum so that Tatum can do a soccor session with the Miracle House and neighborhood children.  Tomorrow will also include a visit to the market and dinner in Nairobi.  Pray that it is a restful time of fellowship and sharing for the team!

Much has been accomplished at Base Camp, but there is still much to do.  The team is working to get a meeting with a builder on Thursday morning, so pray that they are able to meet with and discuss the development process with the builder!  Pray that it provides guidance and direction for our next steps!

Continue to pray for health and safety for the team - they are battling the sniffles that are so common among the children!  Pray for rest, strength, and health.  Please pray for safety also - as they travel in and through Nairobi tomorrow, and as they prepare to travel home on Friday.
